YOSI MESSIAH

Born in Israel, Yosi Messiah migrated to Australia in 1987. After Owning a successful jewelry business Messiah's creative curiosity led him to study painting at Charlie Shed's School, and life drawing at Julian Ashton's. Since 2003 Messiah has been building a successful reputation with his abstract grid work. Messiah's figurative work is his most recent recent creative direction, and has been inspired by pop culture and play station imagery. His work is characterized by his love of intricate line detail and a bold and exuberant colour palette taken from his experience as an abstract painter.
